How does pricing work?

We price flat from a photo or a quick walkthrough. Single items have set prices — sofa $170, refrigerator $221, queen mattress $139. Bigger jobs price by truck-fill: quarter $325, half $580, three-quarter $790, full $985. The $75 minimum covers any small pickup. Labor, stairs and disposal are always included.

Is there sales tax on junk removal here?

It depends which side of the border you're on — this is the DC area's quirk. In the District of Columbia the service carries a 6.5% sales tax. In Maryland and Virginia the junk-removal service isn't taxed, so there's no sales-tax line at all. We show it (or its absence) on every quote — full detail in the cost guide.

Can you come same-day?

Often yes — send a photo and if we have a truck near you we can usually schedule same-day or next-day across DC, Montgomery and Fairfax counties.

Do you handle high-rise condos and apartments?

Yes. We put a certificate of insurance (COI) on file with your building and book the freight elevator or loading dock before we arrive — standard for towers in Rosslyn, Ballston, Tysons, Navy Yard and downtown Silver Spring.

Can you get furniture down rowhouse or basement stairs?

Yes — narrow rowhouse and basement stairs are routine. We protect the walls and treads, carry it out, and the stair-carry is included in the flat price.

What happens to the stuff?

Usable furniture and appliances are donation-routed; the rest is disposed of responsibly. You don't need to sort anything first.
